Welcome to the Office of Orientation & Student Transitions. Our role within the university is to assist and support your needs as a Tulane parent or family member. We believe parents and families are an important part of the university community. Whether you need information about orientation, want to become connected through our Partners in Learning e-newsletters, or just need a question answered, we are here to help and keep you well-informed.
For those of you new to Tulane University, I invite you to become part of Pelican Partners, a program created to provide e-mail communication support for new parents and families of the Tulane community. Through this program you will have the opportunity to connect with very informed parents who are volunteering their time to answer any of your questions. These parents are eager to assist you in your new role of a Tulane parent. Taking part in this program will allow you to learn about the pride that comes along with being a Tulane member. In addition, the Office of Orientation and Student Transitions also supports a society for all parents through the Parent and Family Society. We hope that you consider becoming an active member within the society.
To learn about opportunities and resources available for Tulane parents and family members, please check out the Quick Links on the left side of this page. Besides parent orientation, we hope to see many of you during Parent/Family Weekend and other Tulane sponsored events.
We are excited you have chosen to be part of the Tulane community. If you have any questions, please contact me at 877–TUP–WAVE (877-887-9283)or e-mail me at maldana@tulane.edu

Kindest Regards,
