Welcome to the Office of Orientation & Student Transitions. Our role within the university is to assist and support your needs as a Tulane parent or family member.  We believe parents and families are an important part of the university community. We believe that you play an extremely important role in your student’s success at Tulane.  Whether you need information about orientation, want to become connected through our Partners in Learning e-newsletters, or jjust need to get a quick question answered, we are here to help and keep you well-informed.

For those of you new to Tulane University, I invite you to become part of Pelican Partners, a program created to provide e-mail communication support for parents and families of incoming students. Through this program you have the opportunity to connect with current Tulane parents who are volunteering their time. These parents are eagar to assist you as you begin your new role of a Tulane parent. Taking part in this program will allow you to learn about the pride that comes with being a Tulane parent. In addition, the Office of Oreintation and Student Transitions also supports a society for all parents through the Tulane Society for Parent and Family Involvement.
