The division of student affairs provides data about Tulane University students, parents, their experiences, and the campus environment, which inform strategic planning and division initiatives.

This is accomplished through collaborative partnerships with a variety of internal and external units:

• StudentVoice, Inc.
• Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI)
• Outside the Classroom
• Higher Education Research Institute
• Core Institute

The division of student affairs has an assessment team through which division-wide assessment initiatives are coordinated. They serve as a clearinghouse for all initiatives and provide guidance on survey development and research methods. The team members are:
